The round flat head insert caps (also known as cylindrical head caps or lamella stoppers) are perhaps the oldest and most commonly used type of insert cap. They are also possibly the most versatile, being used not only as chair leg caps, table leg caps, or other furniture caps but also for a wide range of other purposes to neatly finish tube constructions and seal them against external moisture and dirt.
