How did this shop come about?

As furniture upholsterers, we have always been, and still are, looking for small refinements to add that little extra something to our work as an additional service. As a result, we increasingly found ourselves fitting furniture with new floor protectors (felt glides and nail-on glides), searching for new furniture caps (insert caps and external caps) or floor glides for tubular frame chairs, or new furniture legs for sofas. Naturally, we didn't keep these to ourselves, but also made them available in our shop at the time and our webshop for hobby upholsterers. We were greatly surprised to find that there was a high demand for these items, and so we decided to specialize in this area with a targeted niche webshop.

The demand did not only come from furniture owners; people walked in who wanted to finish a tube, a pipe or a hole in various ways with an insert plug or end cap. Whether this was for a garden chair, a bicycle, a curtain rod or a drill hole.

We can now even count artists, construction companies, bicycle shops and sun protection specialists among our customers.

In addition, our webshop also offers a wide range of maintenance products from Royal Furniture Care (from Oranje B.V.), among others, for your furniture. And a growing range of furniture parts, some of which are difficult to obtain. In this way, we ensure that you can extend the lifespan of your furniture in multiple ways.
